In conjunction with SF Design Week, Airbnb Design will be unveiling Shadow to Light, a custom installation inspired by this years conference theme, “Question Everything.”

What is our relationship to a space? We bring individual perspectives into any room we enter. Airbnb Design invites you into our living room, an environment that plays with color and space, shadows and light. Enter a world of striking contrasts and curiosities. Explore what is hidden in the darkness — and what is revealed in its absence. What stands out to you? What recedes? Be our guest, and explore how your relationship to a space changes with context.

The installation will be accessible to the public during these times:

  • Wed, June 14th: 6:30pm to 9:30pm during SF Design Week opening night (tickets available)
  • Thurs, June 15th: 9:00am to 6:00pm (free to the public on this date)
